It Has its Ups and Downs

I started climbing the October of my first year in undergrad all the way back in 2016. I didn't have a car in Oregon that year, and so I spent every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night sitting in friend's dorms nagging them into driving me to the climbing gym. I was successful less than I wanted yet more than I deserved.

After a while I became aware of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and their livestreams of the IFSC World Cups on YouTube. I'm not a big data person, personally, and so I of course felt no deep unrelenting urge to catalogue all of the competition scores and attempts over time for each athlete. Thank goodness.
