Writing
As a burgeoning graduate student about to undertake the grueling gauntlet that is Seeking Employment, one of the central tenets of academia has been on my mind a lot lately: Publish or Perish.
However, nowhere in the aforementioned addage is there any specification as to what, precisely, I should be publishing.
So I've settled on speculative fiction, and with four publications (so far) this year I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about my chances.
I haven't perished yet, but if I do, I'm sure this is the first place my (un)timely demise will be announced.
